Pride for Parents will open Thursday, December, 15 through Friday, December, 23.
Store hours are 10:00 AM-1:00 PM & 2:00 PM-5:00 PM.
We are open Saturday, December 17th 10am-4pm. Closed Sunday, December 18th.
Friday, December, 23rd: Closing Day Store Hours are 10am-1pm.

Generosity and joy are coming in strong!
Santa is coming to South Atlanta - and he’s looking for helpers like you! We’re looking for folks to spread joy and cheer by stocking our Christmas Toy Store and volunteering to make the shopping experience delightful.

Here are 4 ways YOU can join the joy of Pride for Parents this year!
#1 Host a Toy Drive
This is one of our favorite ways for people to get involved! Whether you are a large group working or worshiping remotely or a small group of any kind, hosting a toy drive is for you! It’s a safe and effective way to join the joy this year. We invite you to host either a socially distant or virtual toy drive to keep everyone healthy and smiling for the holidays.
Virtual Toy Drive
Spice up a regular meeting by taking some time to select toys together! Here’s how it works:
Pick a meeting time and set up a virtual meeting (or choose a standing meeting you will use to conduct your toy drive)
Before the drive, send out our Christmas Toy Wishlists (Amazon, Target).
During your meeting, take 15 minutes to pause your agenda and shop for toys together! Have fun with it - change your screen background to the North Pole, shop for loved ones at the same time, and take a screenshot to send to us here at FCS.
Ship all toys to 1297 Jonesboro Rd SE 30315 and make sure to send us a photo of your group shopping together. We’ll post it to our social media and tag you.
Socially Distanced Toy Drive
Reach out to your friends to find a time to shop together for toys and pick a store.
Grab your mask and hand sanitizer before meeting up at the appointed time.
Shop for toys together while staying six feet apart!
Take a photo of yourselves to send to us here at FCS. We’d love to share it and thank you! Then, elbow-bump good-bye and drop toys off at our offices here at 1297 Jonesboro Rd SE.

We spend our year keeping an ear out for the most exciting toys and cultural icons in our neighborhood! With this insider info, we’ve put together a list of some of the hottest toys we’d love to see line the shelves of our store. A great option for when you’re shopping for your own loved ones from home!

#3 Volunteer with the store
We are thrilled to welcome back in-person volunteers to our store this year! Volunteers or "South Atlanta Santa's Helpers" are invited to sign up to serve in our store. Pre-registration is required. Volunteers should be 12+ years of age.

#4 Donate Funds
Give directly to the Pride for Parents store! We’ll get the most out of your dollar by putting it to strategic use purchasing toys or creating a living wage for our store employees.
Our Story
Pride for Parents started with one simple belief –families would prefer to provide for themselves at Christmas rather than receive a hand out. Pride for Parents is a program designed to provide the families in our neighborhood the opportunity to shop for their families at greatly reduced cost. We’re about powering joy, generosity, and community!
Through the support of generous schools, churches, businesses, and individuals, FCS sets up a toy store at our South Atlanta location for the two weeks leading up to Christmas. Families from the neighborhood get to shop for that perfect toy for their loved one!
In the process, we are able to provide quality jobs for residents of South Atlanta – one of the key ingredients to making our neighborhood healthy again.
Pride for Parents is a unique giving opportunity at Christmas because it provides three gifts in one:
1. The gift of a toy at Christmas for a child.
2. The gift of pride for the parents who are able to provide for their families.
3. The gift of job for South Atlanta residents.
