OPEN HOUSE
If you are new to the Lupton Center, and the philosophy of FCS, Open House is the best way to deep dive into how and why we do our work, and the practices and principles that make us successful. We open the doors of FCS twice a year (in the Spring and Fall) to guests for a neighborhood tour, and interactive workshops with our staff and trainers.
SEMINAR
Reimagine Charity: This seminar introduces groups to the basic concepts of toxic and responsible charity. It is an interactive 3 hour event that invites groups to consider why traditional charity paradigms are not working and to envision a new and better way forward. By looking a real life examples, participating in thought-provoking exercises and being exposed to compelling teaching, participants come away ready to chart a new course for more responsible charity.
FLOURISHING NEIGHBORHOOD INDEX
The Flourishing Neighborhood Index is our Data and Analysis tool. We use the FNI to equip neighborhoods with the tools and technology that allows them to engage residents, analyze neighbor priorities, and track the progress of organization's work in community over time.
LEADERS LAB
Leaders Lab is our 12 month long, online cohort that blends group training on change management, poverty alleviation methods, and personal coaching. It is meant for leaders who are interested and ready to tackle changing the way their organization is practicing charity or social service delivery. Over the course of the year, participants create change in one program in their organization.
